We are fully elected members of the Society of Will Writers, who provide a Code of Conduct with which we comply in all our dealings with members of the public. We offer full storage facilities in Swindon, which are very competitively priced. We also offer a very competitively priced Probate service, and the establishment and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
You have the option of having one of our highly trained consultants visiting you in your home or at your place of work, at your convenience.
Or, if you prefer, we will e-mail you a questionnaire for you to complete and return. We will then prepare a draft Will(s) for you and, subject to your approval, will deliver the original document(s) ready for signing and witnessing.

Gordon Mitchell
Managing Director
Gordon became a financial adviser in the insurance industry in 1979, progressing to Life Branch Inspector and Section Manager with Pearl Assurance in 1985. He became an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) in 1997, having established a Will Writing business in 1994. The business was incorporated in 1997 as Asset Guardian Company Ltd.
The Company has now written Wills for well over 10,000 clients nationally, and also provides Probate Advice and Lasting Power of Attorney to a growing number of satisfied clients across the South West.
Robert Young
Estate Planning Consultant
Rob has a long history in the corporate world, working in a variety of positions for Early Learning Centre, Mothercare, and latterly Homebase. He joined Asset Guardian Co Ltd in 2015 as a trainee Will Writer, on a part time basis. He wanted to learn the business before taking the plunge and beginning to give clients advice about their Wills.
Gordon has trained Rob over a period of 2 years until he was able to demonstrate his proficiency in Estate Planning. He now works for Asset Guardian Company Ltd on a full time basis (since January 2018) as an Estate Planning Consultant, under Gordon's ongoing supervision. It is our plan that in 2023 Rob will take over the day-to-day running of the family business in conjunction with Hayley (his wife, Gordon's eldest daughter).
